Taking Honey & Themes to the Max

Sweet can mean two things: tastes great or stellar experience. There is a lot of sweetness in the U.S. Mountain West and western Canada, but I’ll limit this to talking about the new “Buzzed at Bernardus” experiences at Bernardus Lodge & Spa in Carmel Valley, California.

Tips From a Pro for Achieving Proper Bar Etiquette

Yes, bar etiquette. And why not? If you’re like many professionals in the meetings and events industry, you end up in a bar at the end of a business meeting, trade show or industry conference. When you’re in business-social situations, you’re still making impressions. Don’t let rudeness rule your thirst. ¶ Here are some simple bar etiquette rules that allow you to drink with decorum:

Signature Drink - Symphony No. 11

Signature Drink - The RH

This is definitely not your grandfather’s library. The Library Bar, tucked inside the intimate Rittenhouse hotel, is a far cry from anything dusty, stodgy or old-world. Instead, this inviting space, with its handsome interiors, is the embodiment of modern, sleek style. While here, opt for The RH cocktail, the Library Bar’s signature drink. Like the space itself, this cocktail takes a classic and turns it on its head. It’s a new look of the whiskey sour, revisited in honor of Rye whisky’s birthplace.

INGREDIENTS

-2 oz. of rye whiskey
