Top of the Tower has officially changed their name to Sky Philadelphia. While the name’s new, their great food, friendly staff and fabulous views remain the same. They have been a private events venue for 23 years!

In March 2015, they opened Sky Brunch to the public and in June 2016, they opened Sky Garten—the only high-up open-air observation deck in the city—operated in partnership with the famed German restaurant, Brauhaus Schmitz.

As with any new identity comes a few other changes. Check out their new websites, plan a visit, make a reservation, or schedule a tour soon.

Marilyn Sukonick-Zeff’s story starts in a Barnes & Noble. On a whim, many moons ago—as she says—she took her two children for story hour at the national bookstore and noticed there would be a tarot card reader coming in to promote selling the cards. The experience intrigued her so much she asked for a private reading with the woman on a different date.

Red Pedal Tours in Philadelphia is now offering a brand-new tour for foodies. We profiled Red Pedal Tours in our Spring 2014 issue when they had just hit the streets with their bright red pedicycle, and we are thrilled they are growing in popularity. The pedicycle is powered by you—there are 12 seats lining two sides of the cycle, with a bench in the back for three non-cyclers to enjoy the ride. Their history tours are a fun and active way to experience the city’s history in a new way.

A sneak peek of the venue spaces at the Museum of the American Revolution, which will open on April 19, was celebrated on Jan. 19 in Philadelphia. The invite-only event was held for industry insiders to showcase the new museum’s offerings for events and meetings, which includes four main event spaces: Rotunda, Patriots Gallery, Liberty Hall and Founder’s Board Room.
